Genital growths and lumps may be the first indication that a person has caught a sexually transmissible infection. These may include:
- genital warts
- molluscum contagiosum ( MC )
- condylomata lata ( syphilis )
Our clinic offers various treatments for genital and anal warts, as well as for molluscum. Options include topical (cream) treatment and cryotherapy ( liquid nitrogen treatment ). Minor surgery may also be performed if necessary.
Genital warts can be prevented in both men and women. Do speak with our doctor regarding the HPV ( human papillomavirus ) vaccine or Cervical Cancer vaccine. In patients who are already diagnosed with HPV infection or genital warts, it is important to consider vaccination for your partner as well.
